Deploying The Odiogo Service On A Blog: Why And How

We’re pleased to see every month hundreds of bloggers subscribing to our service. It’s particularly exciting to follow the viral effect of a blogger discovering the Odiogo service on someone else’s blog, signing-up for it, implementing it, posting a blog about it which in turn triggers other bloggers to go through the same process…

DailyCupofTech, a blog that has recently added our service, posted a comprehensive article covering the motivation and the steps followed to deploy Odiogo. We think this is a great introduction to our service. Of course, it goes without saying that Daily Cup of Tech is not affiliated in any way to Odiogo!

Oh my gosh, what an AWESOME new blog tool!!! THANK YOU for creating Odiogo and I’m already LOVING IT! The audio file is up and ready to go within minutes of publishing a new blog post and it’s yet another value-added part of what I have to offer my readers.

I blogged about your service today and invited my “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb” readers with blogs to sign up, too!

THANKS again and keep up the fantastic work!

I like the idea of ODIOGO. The text-to-speech capability is not bad. However, I would like the ability to control the playback speed, because I find, depending on the content I’m listening to, I lose interest, because the playback speed is often too slow. I would also like and audio streaming capability, where the playback speed is very fast. So that I can listen — skim through an article looking for content of high interest. Then I would slow it down to take in all the detail. Let me know if either of these capabilities is available or in the works.

Audio Added for Your Listening and Downloading Pleasure

I added a new widget to the Art Print Issues blog today. Odiogo uses computer technology to digitize the blog and some bloke’s pleasant computer voice to read it aloud to you

Not much to say - just a great tool!
It took only a few minutes to install both the rss feed and the “listen now” button.
    Thanks!

    Odiogo: Robo-Blogger

Visitors to FND Blog will now notice these new Odiogo buttons above every post. Odiogo is a new web service from an Israeli startup that harvests blog posts and converts them to audio files for online playback. Just click the button and a small Ajax ap…
